About the Author
Mr. Stewart was
born and raised in southern California and graduated from San Diego
State University. He joined the Air Force where he spent the next 21
years involved in television production and multimedia management. In
subsequent years, Mr. Stewart opened his own video production company in
California; worked as a video producer-director for a university in
Arizona; managed a cable channel in Michigan and supervised a small
media operation in New Jersey. Today, he manages a large multimedia
facility in Florida. In his spare time, Mr. Stewart volunteers as a
motion picture film researcher for the National Museum of the U.S. Air
Force and writes non-fiction aviation and film history related books and
articles. He is a member of the American Aviation Historical Society,
the League of World War I Aviation Historians, and the Military Writers
Society of America, among others. Along with his wife and two cats, Mr.
Stewart lives semi-quietly along the Emerald Coast.
